By selecting “Yes” to the appropriate question during the online event registration process, I agree to hold harmless, now and forever, the Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club, Inc. (BCKFC), its officers and its representatives for any and all injury, loss, death, or harm that may result from participation in any BCKFC event and/or any BCKFC sponsored event, including, but not limited to, tournaments, meetings, informal get-togethers, etc.
I am aware that the activities associated with the club can be hazardous and that I could be seriously injured or even killed. I am voluntarily participating in these activities with full knowledge of the potential dangers involved and agree to assume any and all risks of bodily injury, loss of property, death, property damage, etc… whether BCKFC specifically makes these dangers known to me or not. As consideration for being permitted by BCKFC to participate in these activities, I forever release BCKFC, any affiliated organization and their respective directors, offices, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property loss or damage, related to my participation in these events and activities, the negligence of other acts, whether directly connected to these events and activities or not, and however caused by any Releasee. I also agree that I, my assignees, my heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will NOT make a claim against, sue, or attach property of any Releasee in connection with the matters covered in the foregoing release.
BY SELECTING “YES” IN THE APPROPRIATE AREA OF THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS I AM INDICATING THAT I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY AND UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN MYSELF AND BAYOU COAST KAYAK FISHING CLUB, INC. THE STATE AND PARISH/COUNTY OF ANY SUCH EVENT AND I AGREE TO IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
If I am completing registration on behalf of a minor, I am acknowledging that I am a legal guardian of that minor as relates to this event and am agreeing to the above on behalf of that minor OR that I have made that child’s legal guardian(s) fully aware of the contents of this waiver and release of liability and he/she/they have agreed to comply with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
